So...........what has happened to DA? It still seems to be the same in some ways but not what I remember from the past. Still see some of the great folks ............ should I still participate?

This journal entry is all about Mandelbulb 3D.  While I enjoy creating fractals with many of the applications that are out there, M3D has always fascinated and frustrated me at the same time.  I would bash around and find something that looked cool and then render it and "woooh" but I was just too lazy to really learn the finer details of M3D.  A few months ago, I finally decided to really pay attention to the great work, tutorials and freely offered parameters that so many Deviants have posted for all of us to look at. After endless studying of parameters I started to see relationship patterns in the way that the formulas work together and

It is nice to take a side trip.  We all have goals that we pursue for whatever reasons for that person in that place in time.  I am nothing special. I greatly appreciate the deviants that have visited my page and left encouraging comments or added my work to their favorites page or to a collection.  I am so happy to have visited so many pages of other deviants to see their work and add their work to my own collections.  This website is really amazing in that way.........it takes little effort to see incredible artists from around the world......without leaving your own sagging office chair........(smile). In my case, I am currently learning
